People Don't Know What They Don't Know
Prayer & Praise Report # 4, July-August 2026
People Don't Know What They Don't KnowImagine listening to your pastor teach and realizing that some of what he is saying is not correct. What if the pastor knows some of what he is teaching is incorrect, but doesn’t know how to correct it?
One of our leaders in East Africa knew that some of the doctrines being taught by a number of the pastors and their wives in the area were not biblical. Several of these pastors, along with their wives, and others attended an STS training. During the training, they discovered what the Bible actually says. As a result, some of them confessed that while they knew there had been errors in their teaching, they were unable to figure out what was correct. However, thanks to the STS training, they said they are now equipped to correctly study the Bible and understand what it says. They now have the Word in their heart pockets and they are thrilled!
God's Story & Uber
God's Story: From Creation to Eternity can be a mighty tool in a believer's hands. On a recent trip to Dallas, an Uber driver from Cambodia reacted excitedly when he heard God's Story in his heart language, Khmer (see phone on center console playing God's Story). At the end of the ride, we gave him his own copy of God’s Story to listen to later.
If you are reaching out to a neighbor or others in your area, consider sharing a link to God’s Story with them. God’s Story is available in over 500 languages, so there is a pretty good chance we have something they can understand. When sharing the video with them, encourage them to listen to the first 15 minutes of the program and let you know what they think. We have found that people who listen to the first 15 minutes will often listen to the rest. Visit Watch God’s Story to explore the languages we have available. You can also purchase God's Story on a microSD card to share you’re your friend.

Indiana and Wisconsin Training Update
In July, some of our amazing instructors conducted back-to-back trainings in Warsaw, Indiana and West Bend, Wisconsin. Pray for each person who attended to make good use of their new Bible study and storytelling skills.
Languages in Cameroon
For the past several weeks, a few of our language specialists have been in Cameroon, translating and recording multiple languages of Gods Story. Please pray for them as they finish their time there. From beginning to end, our leaders have faced many challenges working on these languages. Praise God for the solutions He has provided. Pray for these languages to be well received and many to come to faith through hearing God’s Story.

Digital and Physical Challenges
We discovered this week that our website was hacked. Thankfully we have a backup, but it has cost us a lot of time. Pray for our team as we restore the website to working order.
Several of our leaders have malaria, other health issues, or are wrestling with financial difficulties. Please pray for the Lord's healing and provision.
The Ebola outbreak continues to rage in the DRC and has crossed into Uganda. Pray for the people there and for the health workers as they fight to stop this deadly disease.
